The past year or so has shown me just how much can be achieved, even if you don’t believe you can do it.
We all tend to hold on to our comfort zone like a branch on the edge of a cliff that’s stopping you from plummeting to the bottom. But that branch is lying to you!
These past 14 months have been full of breakthroughs!
After being in hospital for a month, when I was told “you can go home tomorrow”, I actually started to feel anxious and scared. Will I be able to look after myself? Will I be able to get up and down stairs? Genuine worries but in hindsight, unfounded.No, I’m not sprinting up and down the stairs, it can take a while, but I did it!
Yes, I CAN look after myself!
The biggest key is to take action. Action can break those doubts, worries, fears, because action becomes proof!
Lately, I have to walk into my podiatry appointments. It’s not a long distance but I initially believed I’d struggle… but I did it.
Like how coaches “know” they’re not good enough to change lives. Or they “know” they can’t remember those powerful coaching questions or modalities.
Those doubts and beliefs can feel SO real, but again, taking action will grab those beliefs, stuff em into a blender and turn it to high speed.
Action leads to self-belief, and they both lead to self confidence… MASSIVE self confidence!
I know it can feel scary making those steps, and I’ll admit, they can feel uncomfortable, but I promise you, that discomfort is short-lived and the boost you get can last a lifetime.
So get that sexy bottom into gear, start taking action, and reap the successes it leads to!
